Chess has helped me come to terms with my sexuality. And now you know. Now to move on with the rest of my life.

I like bears in real life...ya know "bears" lol. When I drew Aubrey, that's when I knew things in my life were never going to be the same. So I drew Chess to represent life after coming out. Like night and day, Aubrey never seems to be happy with himself. On the other hand, Chess doesn't give a shit and likes who he is.

So it gives me peace of mind to know how i feel about myself and after creating Chess.

In case you didn't know Chess is Aubrey's gay cousin from Georgia. He's a big guy with a big heart but think he's a princess at heart. (Like I said southern boys are fine. lol). Aubrey is like me a year ago. He can't believe he's gay either but oh well. Like the quote from this pic....It is what it is.

This representation was never meant to be stereotypical but a breath of fresh air. Not hiding who I am anymore.
