I love her tail, too, but it's such a pain to ink. Haha.
And lol. I wish I dressed like this more often, but so few of my plaid shirts still fit. They're all like wearing tents now. I admittedly love looking like I walked out of a grunge concert circa 1995. High five for that!

It's not exactly finished, honestly. I just don't want to look at it for a while and I feel bad that I, uh, never really finish anything so here internet! Have a thing.
Although textures have a time and a place. I know you like it, but sometimes it just makes something look too busy or chaotic when I just want something mellow. Ha. I may play with it if I decide to do shading and whatnot, just to see how it looks, though.

MEEEEEEEI think it'd look good as a flat piece with textures? (And maybe a simple background.) That's what I meant. I know with shading it can start to look too busy, but the flat colors would help detract from the...busy-ness.

Love this critter! Seriously, all that badass fluff and claws, and then the most boop-able nose ever.
And wait. Does Ras fluff up like a striped hyena when excited/threatened? Because omg.

ACTUALLY SHE DOES. The fact she's always kinda floof is kind of a testament to the whole anxiety thing (I drew her once with it down years and years and years ago and it's terrible so LET'S NOT DISCUSS IT), but she puffs up like somebody stuck her claw in a light socket when you really put the fear in her. Or cake happens.
She just goes PUFF. Everywhere.
I imagine her tail fur is a bit too heavy for that, though. It just kinda frazzles like a cat's tail, but it's too heavy to go full on explodey.
