Sometimes, the fact that you've been turned into a demon queen slash magical girl actually works in your favor. Such as when a popular media franchise releases a new entry just before Halloween, and you might be the only person on the planet who can get away with playing both the villain and the damsel in distress by yourself. Everyone should do a Princess Peach costume sometime in their life, but not many get to kidnap themselves when they do it. Her larger, egg-bearing body almost never ventures into public, but this was too good an opportunity to pass up.

At least, that was the thought at the time. While it seemed like the perfect fit, she was barred from any competition she tried to enter for a very wide variety of reasons, including 'not actually being a couple', 'the stage cannot support more than half a ton per competitor', 'your rear is blocking the fire exit', 'too many spikes', 'no eating during the contest', 'there is some weird slime where you were standing', and 'oh my god are those eggs'. No matter what your intentions may be, or how hard you try to assure everyone that the eggs aren't ready to hatch yet, people tend to get a trifle nervous when they realize there is an active hive queen in a crowd.
