Thank you for all the wonderful comments on all my speedpaints folks, certainly went a long way to bolster my confidence about not only continuing them but also sharing them with you all here on FA!

Originally I started this as a speedpainting last night. Started with a solid soft pink background and just started spattering around colors until a mountain range took form and it all went from there.

I realize the composition isn't very dynamic, but then that is one thing I will be trying to better through my speedpaints.

I also know this isn't my typical subject but I hope that isn't a bad thing as I have so been enjoying these quick loose paintings. You know how sometimes you feel some part of your heart is locked away from your own eyes and once you discover it, you knew what you were missing all along? I think these series of paintings have given me that soothing sense of realization and elation.
