This was actually something for work that got rejected a long time ago but I felt bad throwing out because I kinda liked. Came across it a few weeks ago and tweaked it a bit, figured I'd toss it up here c:. Horse anatomy will always confuse me, so for all you equine fans, please forgive me eeep!

Being a rabid horse enthusiast myself, I can attest that equines are damn complicated to render properly. My mom was almost exclusively a horse artist and it took her years before she got close enough to perfect with anatomy. I'd say you did a smashing job, especially bringing out that lovely Friesian character in the subject.
