Another picture from WhiteMantis, this time featuring a pair of cheetah sisters from another story we have been building. ^^

Another pic for Bagheera! <3 This time, featuring my (still unnamed) cheetah sisters. This is another story we're having fun with/dreaming.

In this story, Bagheera is a proud and arrogant Egyptian lord, and the cheetahs are from a nomadic African tribe heavily inspired by the Tuareg people. At first, the sisters are captured by Bagheera and made slaves, but manage to escape his grasp. Some time later, the situation is reversed: Bagheera is captured by the sisters, who have their revenge and teach him the meaning of humility.

Eventually, they learn more about each other and a mutual respect is developed. Perhaps even something more...

The title is based on the constellation of Orion, particularly, Orion's Belt, with its three brightest stars corresponding to the three felines being together. And Orion was important in Egyptian mythology, as it was believed to the resting place of Osiris.

I don't have a lot of practice with felines, and I'm rusty drawing furries, but I'm happy with the results here! Been studying them kitty faces a lot!
