Although at the time of the story's conception, Simba's Pride was not yet released, by the time I drew these character sheets, it already was. This created a problem, since I was not sure how to account for Kiara and Kovu. I think I ended up assigning them to the support cast, where they eventually joined the male leopard's war on the lion pride to drive out Sadidi... or something.

Like I said, awkward infancy phase of the story.

Fortunately, there were so many problems with trying to reconcile my story with the TLK-universe that within a few months after these character sheets were made, all ties between TLK and my story were severed, allowing it to go back to its root as a standalone tale, the way it was originally intended to be.

Besides, we all remember what a mess TLK 3 (I mean... 2 1/2?) was. Yuck.
