I need to start focusing on textures now that I'm reasonably good at form/ structure.
At this point what should be furry looks plastic and awful.

Looks awesome! I certainly have a hard time with drawing paws/hands/hand-paws.
The only thing I notice (not with the paws) is on the chubby arm; the fur is actually going the wrong way until the wrist, where it starts going in the correct direction. The fur should all flow out toward the fingers (unless there's a breeze or something, of course!)
