This began life as a black and white photograph of a concrete wall that was then enhanced in Photoshop to reveal more of the texture, and then digitally painted with fake faded grafitti because skulls are cool and I wouldn't get in trouble for digitally drawing on a wall.

Incidentally, I think "Stone and Bone" would make and excellent name for a tavern in a Dungeons and Dragons game.
