I was inspired recently by a trip we took to Lake 22 here in Washington State. Massive cedars and Douglas Firs all around us, some of them so big around you think they'll never fall.

But they will. They all do eventually. Just like the one we found upended in a waterfall, toppled like a cheap condo building in south Florida.

And that's okay.
