This plushie was originally made and posted on DA in 2012. It's Tilius the dormouse :) I'm still rather pleased with this one. The snout should have been pointier, but overall I still like it. He sits easily by himself (also thanks to plastic pellets in the bottom for extra weight and a balancing tail).
He is also my first plushie with nylon whiskers! It was the only material I could find so far, but it does the trick so okay. Ears are made of felt, which is why they let the light through, much like real dormouse ears! Hands and feet are made of viscose, the rest is faux fur. Black glass eyes and embroidered nose and mouth.
Tilius is 14 cm high head to foot (little less than 6 inch) and his tail is 11 cm long (4,5 inch).
