Neena has an environmental suit, custom-fit to her body, that protects her in extreme situations - anything from deep sea to outer space. The backpack, fully charged, can provide up to 24 hours of breathable air, temperature regulation, and a comfortable level of humidity. It's served its purpose well in the past, letting her collect biological samples from all sorts of odd places, but now it mostly sits in her closet collecting dust.

Parts of the design were inspired by my current Starbound playthrough, where a Hylotl named Neena is gathering pieces to build a lab out of. There's no facility (yet) for proper mad-science experimentation and custom creature-building, but she can at least use the spawners to ensure a steady supply of experimental subjects.
