Gunslinging Iguana Sketch (critique requested)

Again, another practice sketch. This time we got some crazy iguana gunslinger. XD

I like this one better than the pirate bird. <3

Critique wanted, eh? I'd say you're on the path to greatness, but you must first take the path filled with obstacles. Practice lone feral lizards, such as this one. Get a feel for their scales, the bends of their bodies, the shape of their claws. Then play around with clothing. Try drawing clothes alone, from references, on random things. Then finally, turn your practice into it's final stage, practicing poses of human qualities. If you take this road, you will one day draw this again and giggle at what you drew before.

Thank you that is very informative. Admittedly I've never draw a true lizard before, mostly dragons (his feet are dragon feet x3) so this was a fun little adventure. His head came out much better than anticipated. I don't know what happened with his stomach scales.

Thank you again, I will take your advice to heart and continue to practice. :3
