This blog was created by Stacy M. Medina (AKA SeebeeNanigins) as an inspirational blog based off her nephew, who was also born deaf and later in life, went for surgery for COHCLEAR IMPLANTS. The journey was long and challenging, but the outcome was amazing and continues to amaze both her and her nephew.

"Hello everyone, My name is Stacy M. Medina, and I am the proud creator of Ask Gigglebug.
When I first created her, it was merely on a whim, new character to simply be in the background for another comic blog I once ran three years back. But after meeting my nephew, being there for when he was born and watching all the obstacles he's faced, I was inspired.

From a little boy who heard only silence, to this beautiful 4 year old that talks to me about dinosaurs and sharks, he is my Gigglebug and I want to share the inspiration with everyone.

At the same time, I want to also spread awareness for the Deaf Community and the many remarkable feats they've accomplished, especially for children like my nephew."
