Based off a photo I took last summer of the kids I helped look after at the Kids Community Learning Center summer camp in the city of Portland, Oregon.

The counselors would declare "Water Wars" and would set out buckets and water guns for the kids to spray each other with.

Most of the time, the kids brought a change of clothes, so that they could get soaked in their original set, then change later so they wouldn't get cold. X3
