The Sony GDM FW900 and Hewlett Packard's identical rebadge of it, the A7217A, are legendary CRT monitors. They are the only widescreen CRTs that were available on the consumer market and were highly valued by artists and designers for their quality. The MSRP for the FW900 was actually $2300 before LCD's came around for far less money.
And yes, I really did get one, used, for $50. :)
But this is an old piece of art from four years ago and I've since retired all of my CRT screens. You can see here with my current four monitor setup, things have slightly evolved.
