Tribute to an old friend <3 It's a little sad how few people remember or even know about this guy. I love him ; ;

Fin Fin is a virtual bird/dolphin-like creature from the old interactive game "Fin Fin on Teo, the Magic Planet", produced by Fujitsu in 1996. You start out as a complete stranger observing him in the wild, and your goal is to befriend him through communication(voice, musical cues and optional webcam) using various means. As you grow closer you might be allowed to feed him, join in to watch his many habits(and also observe the bountiful, quite interesting flora and fauna on his planet) and you might even experience him singing for you if he trusts you enough. He was one of the first "virtual pets" to be created and also appeared in an anime short, but was sadly not pursued further.

Along with the purchase of the game(at least in the beginning stage of the sale) you'd also get a Fin Fin flute which you could use to call him over the microphone. I'm relieved to know I still have mine :3

The background is vaguely based on the Amile forest, a common place for him to sleep and also where you interact with him the most.
