So, the concept behind this was my client's. She saw a sparrow having a hard time and tried to rescue it, it had an eye infection and couldn't see. So that inspired the idea for a concept she wanted as a tattoo for quite a while--something to represent how the universe will always care for us, holds us, provides for us, etc. etc. IDK she explained it way better. But the hands are simplified to represent the universe as an abstract nonhuman entity and then of course the bird represents her.
