I was worried about copying other spoofs that do this sort of gag from Bevis And Butthead to Saturday Night Live, so I decided to keep it simple, rather than show a montage of ridiculously positive things happening without this literal jackass. Also, I originally going to put it in color, but I thought it would be funnier to reference the movie in black and white. I originally was going to present these as humanoid figures, but I decided to use animals to make it funnier.
