Many Thordani prayers focus heavily around the use of song, ranging from whisper-quiet for funeral dirges to loudly shouted hymns and recitations on the Summer Solstice. As a priest of Faenya, Thenyr would be expected to (help) lead many of these, and as such is trained as a baritone-tenor in singing purposes.  Here, he's singing the prayers of dawn to Faenya as the sun rises in the morning.
