Thenyr is nowhere near as agile as Kawheek, and between that and the size difference, he gained very little knowledge or benefit from martial arts training; the style he'd need is just too different. Kawheek did train him in weapons, however.

And the temple he served at before Kawheek took him under his wing(pun intended) taught him how to use armor and magic from his goddess, Faenya.

Here he is, preparing a spell before a fight while wearing full plate. This is perhaps the best angle to see this from; if you were further around to the back, it wouldn't be as impressive...and if you were further towards the front, you'd likely be on the list of targets! Let's hope whoever it is realizes what they're up against fairly soon.
