It began as a German Legend "The Swan Brothers" but was taken by Juliette Marillier to Ireland for her Sevenwaters Trilogy. The last brother, who's shirt was not yet done, was left with the wing of a swan. Caught between the worlds.

Colored Pencil. I tried a new idea of putting the initial detail down, then sprayed with fixative and put more detail on. However, the underlying was too waxy and did not take the second details. I am still happy with this, however, as it is the first human-ish thing I have drawn that actually looks human.
