Afghan Hound by arikla

Afghan Hound

arikla

Experimental piece. Background is Colored Pencil on Shrink plastic, then acrylic paint layered with Clear acrylic to create a dimensional piece. Learned a lot working on this and found it fun, if a little frustrating since each layer of acrylic takes about 24 hours to dry... there are 10 layers here. Finished piece is approximately 3 x 4 inches and about 1/4 inch thick.
