WtV: The Fennekim - Organizational Chart (critique requested)

AriesQuitex

The society of the fennekim, the Allied sultanates bulk civilian population, and it's overall organisation / structure in a neat diagram.

The difference between a town population and a traditional fennekim sietch populations organisation is as follows:

  • Remove all elements regarding amazones.
  • All military ranks are regular workforce, too, but have one ( Guard ), respectively two (Protector ), days per week off for military training and guard duty .
  • Protectors are knighted by the Sietch Eldest, and the honorings given by an Angel.
  • Knights can marry. They are expected to either command a "Mob" in a battle, or, together with other knights, attack the most dangerous foes.
  • Belted knights have their belt reworked by the fenwa guild mistresses, and in a secret ceremony are sworn in by each Angel to protect the cubs and females in case of an evacuation. The title is a secret, non-public one.

This is only a low granularity chart which doesn't show the particular powers or jobs of the different institutions in any detail, but gives a few hints on prerequisites, influence and working methods of the Fennekim society.

The Fennekim have no higher level of organisation than the town / sietch level.
Only the danceress guilds send out envoys to form higher organisational levels to interact with the higher levels of organisation within the otherwise Amazone-run Sultanates.

Note:
Finely dotted lines do not exist officially

Note 2:
In the traditional fennekim Society of the Sietches, the "Belted Knight" title is a secret one, known to none but the belted knight himself, the guild mistresses and Angels.
To all other fennekim it will look as if they'd be fleeing, which makes this duty as heavy as a mountain for a knight who's expected to fight at the frontlines.
But this burden as well as the fact that a belted knight fights with an Angel at his side ( Traditional: One Angel per Belted Knight ) and that some of the Angels will have borne his cubs is what makes these - often already older - fennekim perform past their species limits.
They are the only fennekim to ever experience the full fury of a fenwa in battle, but none of them ever lived to tell the tale, as they expend themselves, living only to see the cubs and females to safety before suffering total systemic collapse.
As their duty only calls when a Sietch is lost, nobody ever survived to tell about their seeming flight, and thus only the fenwas raising the next generation are there to tell about them.
