This is a white tigress huntress of the church. Huntresses are either very large specimens of their kind, the daughters of a priestess lacking the proper attitudes to be a priestess, or workers that showed their skill and abilities killing one of the dangerous beasts of the deep caverns.

Huntresses have threemain tasks in life:
1) protect the workers from the beasts living in the caverns in the mountains
2) add to the food by hunting the few lifeforms living in the polar regions
3) Hunt and kill a 'wild' male during mating season to retrieve his genitals to allow the priestesses to artificially inseminate a selection of tigresses from al lthree groups ( workers, hunters, priests ).

Whilst huntresses enjoy a less hard life than workers, especially the third task is considered so gut wrenching that many huntresses volunteer for solely the first task or even become workers after after a few years of service, or get lost in the mountains, to be found years later having thrown themselves off a cliff.
Not doing the third tasks means loosing the privilege of the second task.

Huntresses serve also as the guards and executioners of the will of the church. Or rather, the whims of the priestesses.
When they have prooven themselves for a long time, they are sometimes initiated to the rites of the church, joinign the ranks of the priestesses. However, the qualities of a huntress, selflessness combined with agression and the urge to protect are clearly in conflict with the qualities needed to survive as a priestess.
