Twilight Escape by Argent Fatalis

Twilight Escape

Argent Fatalis

"How exactly does a nearly one ton prehistoric feline manage to escape an entire hardened complex in the middle of a lonesome God forsaken desert owned by us?"

"I would not have chosen the word 'escape', Agent Childs... they let him go."

"What? Out of sympathy?"

"Imagine, if you will for one moment, you spent almost the entirety of your life in confinement - a prisoner of a silent war, in that same lonesome, God forsaken desert. Can you truly blame the service members for sympathizing with him? He did say he'd return before dawn."

"It is irrelevant that he returned. He should not have left in the first place."

"And where would he have gone, and who would have seen him? Silver Creek itself is miles inland from the perimeter. The only one who took notice of his brief departure is you, and him."

Argent's brief escape from the Silver Creek facility under the cover of oncoming darkness.

A colored, stylized commission done by Changer the Elder, who had absolute free reign over the piece. This sort of element I enjoy - giving artists the ability to go where they feel they want to with a character, and he certainly did not disappoint in the slightest in the wonderful, and astoundingly colorful twilight hour themed piece.

great angle and layout of the pic, and loving the background you use for the story/description.

I was quite fortunate to get a commission from Changer the Elder, so it is excellent news that both the concept and story match well with his work.
