Byzil has been a very sweet, caring, loving, and wonderful friend of mine for what feels like a lifetime, but in fact has only been a few years. In fact, I can easily say that she is among the closest and dearest friends I have ever had, or will continue to have. I don’t know why she puts up with me sometimes, as my attention seems to wander from one project or adventure to the next, and I don’t keep in touch as often as I really should. But there’s never a day that goes by when I am not truly grateful to have her love and support in my life.

We’ve gotten art together before, but it’s been quite a long time since. Too long. We’ve talked occasionally about getting more, but it just never seemed to take shape. Life happened I guess. But one day it became clear to me that it needed to happen. Something that showed just how far our friendship has come after all these years.

Rhoa-Ki-Igmu was superamazingawesome to work with, and produced this incredible work of art so fast it made my jaw drop. …And then it stayed dropped as I saw just how beautiful it turned out! I mean, look at those mountains! Look at that sky! And she captured me and Byzil’s looks and relative sizes absolutely perfectly! If you’re not watching this artist then you are doing yourself a HUGE disfavor. Go throw money in their direction right now! You won’t be disappointed.

As for me, I could not be more pleased with this commission, and there is no one I would rather share it with than my dearest dragoness. I love you, Byzil! Your friendship and kindness mean the world to me, and you will always have a special place in my heart. And hopefully, many future places in my gallery for more art!
