This is another badge I had commissioned at AnthroCon '09, the con of many badges (for me, at least.) I'd actually never heard of Winddragon before wandering by his table in the Artist's Alley, but I'm definitely glad I met him. His art style impressed me, and he was offering badge commissions at a great deal. I just couldn't turn him down. :)

For this badge, I decided to give him a challenge. Make a full-body image of Arc holding his signature two weapons in their combined form. This is actually the first time I've had said weapons drawn in this position, but it's an option Arc has always had at his disposal. It's always been a pain trying to describe to people in words how the gun and sword are supposed to look when linked (even with Winddragon I had to draw out a basic sketch, IIRC.) But not that I have this baby done, I can just show it off. ^^

I have to add, however, that this badge is awesome in many more ways than for just the weapons. While Winddragon's art is a bit stylized, Arc just looks 'right' in this image. Of all the badges I had done for me at AC this year, this one is one of my favorites. Thank you so much, Winddragon! :D
