Here's a little pinch of inspiration as to how common objects can be repurposed in interesting and innovative ways. Two thirds of the four objects in this image were purchased at a local thrift store. The large blue sphere is the ball from a massage roller cut carefully out of its cup. The two stands were taken off the bottoms of plastic champagne flutes. The last object is a cat eye glass sphere purchased at a gem mineral and fossil shop in Eastern Washington. The two 'stands' were originally destined to become parts of building projects until I realized that they could be used to display objects well.
