Origami Rainbow Matron/Maid of Honor Posies by Archadia

Origami Rainbow Matron/Maid of Honor Posies

Archadia

I have to say that these blooms were my favorite to fold. The form is called the primrose. I used paper to match the bride's tulle train and painted it with gold or silver (for warm or cool colors, respectively) thinned acrylic paints to 'silkify' the paper. Five blooms consist of one red, orange, yellow, blue, and purple. The leaf accents are silked as well. I wrapped the beading wire in black satin and tied with an iridescent bow to finish.

Yeah, yeah, I know... one ended up shorter than the other. Learning happened.

Also known as, "I just don't know what went wrong!"
