~Introduction~
This is the backstory of Kegawa Akademi, the name of the school in my furry Yandere Simulator AU. It's been a while since I've written any stories but ever since I came up with this AU, I wanted to write a story about how it all happened and how Kegawa came into existence so here it is. Enjoy!

~Just Another Ordinary Day~
It was another ordinary day at Akademi. The students and faculty were doing their every day routine. Student Council members were patrolling the hallways, some students were watering plants, others socializing and drawing, and so on. Just another ordinary day. However, over in the science club, Kaga was once again experimenting with his brand new machines, and he thought he just invented another new thing, something that can truly bring the magic of creativity to life. Kaga was a mad scientist who never rested. You could always find him hanging around in the science club, messing around with his machinery, thinking of new ideas every day. He thought his new machine was ready for testing. All he needed was someone to help him test it out...

Meanwhile, Fanon Aoi Ryugoku was in Classroom 2-2, working on her furry universe for Yandere Simulator. Only a select few people know Fanon Aoi's a fourth wall breaker. She knows very well she is the fanmade version of Canon Aoi Ryugoku and the fact she's a video game character. After all, she and Kaga are both responsible for finding a way for both Fanon and Canon Aoi to coexist together in the same universe and at the same time. Fanon Aoi was a furry and had this great idea of designing a fursona for everyone at Akademi. She already designed fursonas for her fellow Student Council members including her hero Canon Aoi. While Fanon Aoi was busy working on reference sheets and stories for her furry AU of Yandere Simulator, she had to be careful that Kuroko didn't find her slacking off and failing to perform her duties. She and Kuroko don't get along and Kuroko has a habit of yelling at Aoi whenever she spots her. Fanon Aoi had her Sony headphones on while working on her project. Suddenly, Kaga busted into the room and grabbed Aoi by her left shoulder as he laughed like a maniac. Aoi let out a loud yelp as Kaga caught her by complete surprise, jumping out of her seat. "KAGA!! YOU ARE SUCH A JERK!!" She yelled before continuing to talk. "Let me guess, you need me for one of your stupid experiments again." Aoi quickly grabbed all the ref sheets and papers regarding her project and held them close to her chest to hide them from Kaga.

~Kegawa Akademi~
Kaga laughed more before eventually trying to calm himself down. "YES! INDEED!" He raised his voice all excited and before Aoi could say or do anything else, Kaga grabbed her wrist and ran off with her to the Science Club. Once there, he turned to Aoi. "SO! Have you been working on anything crazy lately!? I have this AMAZING new invention that lets the user bring any of their epic creative ideas to life and I know you are JUST the person to help me test out this new invention, Aoi!! So what do you say!? Care to tell me all about what you have in your hands?" Aoi looked down at her project and sighed. There was no hiding anything from Kaga. "Ugh, I know this is so incredibly stupid, but...I've come up with this silly idea where everyone at our school is an animal. You know, like this alternate universe where we're all anthropomorphic animals instead of-" She got cut off by Kaga who went back to laughing like a maniac. "EXCELLENT!! Step inside the machine with whatever it is you're holding and watch this amazing new machine bring YOUR idea to life!! AHAHAHA!!!" Aoi growled a bit at him and rolled her eye. "Oh, get out of here. Y'know, let's say it would actually work. What then? We're all animals? Then what? HOW would we return to normal!?" Kaga laughed more before inhaling deeply. "WE DON'T! We don't return to normal because actually...Uh..." He scratched the back of his head nervously and continued with "I haven't actually created anything that could undo that...Uh, creativity if anything went wrong, y'know...?" He looked away a bit disappointed.

Aoi chuckled. "Tch, and you seriously think I'm stepping inside that thing without a backup plan? Find someone else." Aoi was about to walk away when Kaga held her in a tight hug. "W-WAIT, NO! PLEASE! AOI, PLEASE!! Think about it...My inventions never actually did any harm!! They only gave you super cool abilities like your dragon transformation and the fact you were able to see and talk to your canon counterpart! And the fact you visited Donna Beneviento on a European mountain or wherever it was!! PLEASE, AOI!!" He looked at Aoi with a look of desperation. Aoi sighed but realized he was being truthful and genuine. His experiments never hurt anyone. In fact, he was the greatest mastermind there ever was. He was responsible for all the cool stuff and abilities. She sighed and looked at him. "Fine. I'll do it. But get off me!" She shoved him off her and he couldn't be any happier. He jumped through the air like a toddler and prepared the machine for her. "THANK YOU, AOI! You truly are the best assistant I ever had! Oh, and one more thing. This machine doesn't just bring to life the stuff you created on those papers, but it can also explore and dig into your thoughts to really make sure your idea is completely perfect and is what you wanted when it becomes real! HAHA!!" Aoi rolled her eye once more. "It can read my thoughts? Geez, how cool...NOT. Ya freakin' jerk." She said as she hesitantly entered the machine with her furry project papers. "Okay, I'm ready...Ugh, I'm SO gonna regret this..."

Kaga let out one last laugh as he went to the machine's control panel and started it up. Aoi was a little terrified and minutes later, she got knocked out cold, followed by a high pitched tone ringing in her ears and a bright white light flashed before her eye. The machine had spit out Aoi. Kaga rushed to her and helped up the fluffy blue dragon. "Ugh...What the heck happened..." Aoi said with a tired and confused voice as the maniacal lab rat laughed and laughed as several different animal noises could be heard in the background outside the science club and through the entire school. "YESSSSS!! IT WORKED! AOI, WE DID IT! WE DID IIIIIIIT!! AHAHAHA!!" The dragon growled a bit as she looked around. "You...? A rat? Go figure..." Aoi was already exhausted and left the science club as Kaga the rat kept laughing. Aoi wasn't sure if she should feel happy or upset. She walked through the hallways of Akademi to find several students who were now also animals. It was complete chaos throughout the entire school but no one was upset about it. Everyone seemed very playful, happy, and like they were having fun. Seeing this made Aoi feel a little less upset on the inside. Soon enough, she found her friend Akane who was now a red Phoenix, checking herself out in a mirror. "H-Hey, Akane..." Aoi said. Akane turned around. "Hi, dear! How do I look? I'm not sure what happened but it seems our entire school population got turned into animals!" Aoi the Dutch Angel Dragon smiled a bit at her bird friend. "You look lovely, Akane! And yeah, it's because of Kaga!" Aoi replied. Akane giggled and replied with "I thought so! It just seems so typical of him! But I honestly can't complain! This is so much fun! Kaga might be a crazy scientist, but he's definitely got the most fun inventions!" Aoi smiled a little more. "I guess you're right, Akane. Quick question, though. Are you able to return to your human form?" The Dutchie tilted her head curiously at Akane. In front of Aoi's very eye, Akane turned back into her regular human form, then quickly turned back to her Phoenix form again. Aoi wagged her tail happily, and realized that despite everyone getting their fursona that she designed, they're also still able to return to their human forms if they wished but what's the fun in that? Kaga made something amazing happen, and there weren't any irreversible consequences to this experiment that affected the students or their surroundings. Aoi finally started to feel happy with what Kaga did and she made her way to the Student Council room to talk to Megami about this one heck of a day. She entered the Student Council room and as she walked to the laptop, Aoi could see her best friend was...A lioness, the animal Aoi designed for Megami's fursona. "B-Bestie...? Is that...you?" The lioness growled and purred a little as she saw her best friend. "Yes, Aoi. It's me. I'm guessing Kaga is responsible for this mess?" Aoi sighed and explained that he was but that it was also her fault in a way but Megami wasn't mad. After all, Aoi is her best friend and one of the only ones who knew about her furry Yandere Simulator AU. The two talked for a while and giggled and purred with each other. "Oh yeah, didn't you also design a logo for our school for that alternate universe you created? Now that we're all animals, might as well rename our school and get that new logo up and running, don't you think?" Megami said as she winked at her best friend. Aoi made adorable dragon noises and wagged her tail happily. Her idea truly became a reality and within the next few days, Akademi was renamed to Kegawa Akademi and received a brand new logo that featured a paw and the Saikou logo. And that's how Kegawa Akademi was born!
