Experimental piece to emulate the style of State of Mind's album art for Sun King (or at least the one on Last.fm), which is my current big jam at the moment
Not entirely happy with much of this, mainly the WOW GOD MY EYES effect it has
Gives me some ideas for other stuff though. Dunno if it'll ever come to fruition, but this works as a concept to work more things off of

But yeah. Mostly it's an ideas test, strokes, high contrast images, stuff like that
My eyes still ache looking at it for extended periods of time, mind

This is kinda neat, but I agree it's a bit contrasting up close. Hmmm... I wonder if a printed version using reflective silver would be nicer. Although that would be a right pain to print for you or for publishers. :va
Of course, I am thinking of this as album art probably because of the source of inspiration.
