Okay, I wanted to try a few new things. Double shading, a new hair coloration, as well as a new way to make eyes. I figured the best piece to test these one was one I'd been coloring regularly lately as I'm already familiar with the lineart itself. Plus it wasn't too complex or too large to give everything a go. The textures I've been doing for a while..

Anyways, is there anything off or any tips you might have to offer. Please keep in mind that I'm coloring in gimp using a mouse that is glitching on me (so it takes longer than usual to trace the edges).

The wall is a desaturated pattern that is available on gimp. A patttern... you select the one you want than use the paint bucket to fill the area with the pattern you selected, there is quite a selection that comes default with gimp.

The blood is snatched from this tutorial I just scrolled down to where they added the blood and followed those steps to do it. (18-21) I added this simply because it's halloween tonight and... well it'd be a sin (says the witch that doesn't believe in sin) to post something that doesn't have at least something keeping with the theme of the day!
