An experiment with pacing. If you ever read my comic then you should already be very familiar with the image of Skids sadly talking on the phone to somebody, since that was basically the last quarter of it.

I'm retooling the plot of TSLoF and I don't know if I want to keep the PEN phones from the original. They were neat but smartphones work, too. I'm just not sure about the level of cyberpunk I want it to be. The PEN phones had little retractable holographic projectors that could turn it into a tiny laptop, though that was only ever shown once. They were supposed to have DNA-based memory (Tragia's phone was salt DNA-based and Skids' was the more expensive liquid DNA model) capable of holding several hundred terabytes of data.
