Not much to say just another trade from dA~

Annd another trade done!~ This big lovely kitty belongs to Rasachi-youko@dA aaaa he was so much fun to draw big cats are my fav ;v; His name is Skywalker and.. I dunno he's like walking/prancing/jumping/dancing LOL I DUNNO OK RANDOM POSES and let's just say the patterns in the BG as kinda supposed to remind you of clouds or the sky or something pfft
Aaa I couldn't see the markings along his back/flank on the ref so I just sorta improvised a bit I hope that's alrighttt

So many checkerboard patterns! ahaha I even used different sized ones! I had a bunch of fun putting them everywhere X"D Recently messed around in PS and made a bunch of new patterns and fixed a few old ones to use for some patterned pixel brushes~ I really liked how I could draw/paint with pixel patterns [namely the pixel dots I've used on a few previous pics] and I really wanted to transfer them over to SAI so I wouldn't have to have all these copies of the same file to transfer stuff over from SAI to PS back to SAI. SCREECHES I spend like two days trying to make my patterns fit onto SAI's annoying 512x512 bitmap format for textures/patterns with a lot of inching stuff closer/further so it'd be seamless BUT I DID IT YAY X"D
I'll try to show you guys some of the other non-checkerboard patterns later c: They didn't work well with this pic since it's kinda big and smaller pixel patterns are better for slightly smaller stuff~ LAUGHS the only other "done" thing I have is an embarrassingly derpy headshot of Calem I used as testing out some techniques combining these patterned brushes with painting so.. yeah.. I'm not publicly uploading that no one is seeing that besides the friends I already showed >w>;;;
