Requiem Dawn Plush by Amoryllis

Requiem Dawn Plush

Amoryllis

We chose a phoenix because they represent the cycle of life and death. The collar represents Furp, the Jewel in the centre represents his birth month (November) and the purple fur around it represents February.

I bought the fur that was donated to the Anthrocon 2009 charity auction by Furp's parents, and as a response to their request that something be made of the fur I made this. Please enjoy.

There was three different furs that were bought at the auction: a pink shot through with orange, an orange shot through with pink and a purple and fushia "bubble" fabric. As you can see the only trace of the purple bubbles is the collar, and this is mostly because the purple wouldn't behave to become the plush, so the black was used instead of it. Personally I like the black better and works to contrast the pink and orange around the face, wings and feet. (Pasted from FA)
