The other day, my best friend teknicolortiger had her birthday, and since I couldn't be in person in Vancouver to spoil the hell outta her, I decided to do a late night painting for her of one of her characters. Asher Perculeone is a character from her novel series-in-progress, and one of my favourites: a priest who constantly represses his werewolf-ness, and struggles with all sorts of very human problems.

He's unfortunately one of those characters I can NEVER draw very well, with or without references, so I'm impressed it even resembles him, considering the time it took to draw this. A worthy experiment with my acrylic brush for my good friend~
