This project has been in progress since… mid-October, I think? Me and my fiance have been very inspired by BNHA, and decided it would be a fun project to take old characters and character concepts, and convert them into enough OCs to fill an entire class of 18. He designed 9, and I designed 9.

While Inktober aspirations to draw all of these characters unfortunately fell through, we were both determined to make this “yearbook page” of characters happen regardless. I did all of the inking for these portraits, while my fiance did the colours!

It’s extremely satisfying to finally see everyone finished and together in a single piece. I’m currently in the process of doing a very rough lineup of our students to show off their heights and body types, and eventually to use as a base to design their hero costumes. It’s been a great exercise in character design, for sure~
