I. LOVE. THIS. SPEEDPAINTING.
BossLeBlanc offered me a very appealing offer for this: look at a massive list of marvelously inspirational concepts for gods, spirits, and races, and pick whatever you want to paint for three hours.
I saw the paragraph describing this raging snakebattery god, Quetzalcoatl, and I instantly saw what I wanted to paint in my mind's eye. And it translated onto canvas almost flawlessly, colours and everything. I keep opening up the file to look at it with such a silly grin on my face.

I'm not sure you actually painted this. I mean, I saw it, but I think the image was there the whole time and you just erased all the white off the canvas to reveal the True Thing beneath it.

Yanno, that's actually kinda how it felt while I was drawing this! Not so much that I was painting on stuff overtop, but simply working through what I already saw so clearly in my head. It rarely happens, but dang is it satisfying when it does.
