It had been three days since Charlotte had arrived at the Elsevier facility when it was finally time to meet her foster cat. She was called down to the field where she was greeted by a strikingly beautiful white cat with magnificent bright blue eyes standing in one of the paddocks.

"Her name is Paris, she's very active," said the woman standing outside of the paddock as Paris started to jog around the perimeter. "As you will see, she likes to run and have a good time... which can prove difficult for some handlers, but you seem like you can handle that, right?"

Charlotte was entranced by the cat's graceful strides, and paused before saying "--oh, yeah! You bet! I have been waiting for this my whole life! You just wait, I'll show you what I'm made of."

Hopping the fence, Charlotte walked over to the great cat and put her hand out for her to smell. The cat tentatively came over and gave a sniff, but quickly gave the "stink face". However the cat promptly lay down and looked back at Charlotte, as if in acceptance of her new friend. "Paris, I promise we are going to have a lot of fun together while I'm here, don't you worry about a thing!" She smiled, and gave Paris' mane a pat.
