I wanted to draw Jazz Jackrabbit fanart FOREVER, but my ideas were so big that I never ended up drawing them. So this time something simpler - Eva Earlong! I didn't like her dress very much, so I wanted to give her something that looks fancier o: Inspired by fancy Derse and Propsit dreamers (Homestuck), I decided to give something a try~ Ahhh I'm just a bit sad about how the blue fur turned out because that's what I like most in the original uou" But if it comes out better than the background comes out as an eye-killer so I decided on that after all xD

At first I didn't know what to do for a background, but when I came across this tutorial and saw Tiara's great background here, I decided on giving watercolors a try xD That wasn't so easy at first because I don't have proper paper to use watercolors on and I was afraid of ruining Eva by trying it out on the paper directly. But what Rai did with Mina Mongoose eventually gave me the solution for the problem xD I think the watercolor background isn't all that bad, but I still need to harmonize that with the colored pencils with look rather soft in contrast o:

But I'm glad I finally made a tribute to my favorite childhood game after all these years, even if it's just a little one <3
