Extremely Scientifically Accurate Reconstructions

Amagire

Fiddling about to try to re-learn a newer version of my graphics program, following a computer crash. Expect some weird doodly shit from me for a little while while while I get my bearings and remember my brush settings.

Anyway, this was fairly directly inspired by All Yesterdays illustrator C.M. Kosemen's post on tumblr. I wanted to play with the concept, so please enjoy these extremely accurate reconstructions of Lepusaurus alleni, Galeopterusaurus variegates, Hippopotamusaurus amphibius, and Zalophusaurus californianus. I'm sure you can figure out which is which.

Correct on both counts! I won't give the other two away here in case anyone else wants to play the guessing game, but the answers are in the tags (and the description binomials, if you take the -saurus out).

Top left is hippo, top right is a lemury thing or a colugo, bottom left is a hare or a rabbit and bottom right is a sea lion.

(I may have recognised the binomials I CAN'T HELP IT)

Haha, maybe I should do another batch so people can guess.
