Trent's Growing Highscore 1 by Alterflane

Trent's Growing Highscore 1

Alterflane

The building was full of the sounds of the arcade, and the noise hit the visitors as soon as they'd entered - sound effects and music from the cabinets along with the clinking of change in pockets and machines made for a pleasant soundtrack for Trent. This was his first time visiting this particular arcade, situated in the nearby theme park to where he lived. He looked around, coin in hand to see where he wanted to play first. It wasn't long before his attention was caught by a strange glow in the corner of his vision. Intrigued he made his way to try and see the source of the light which seemed so different from the others around.

Trent walked over to where he thought he saw the light, but couldn't see anything which seemed to have created such a thing. What he did find though in its place though was a pinball machine. The machine itself was in perfect condition, no prints to be seen anywhere that would suggest it had ever even been touched. The dragon had a soft spot for pinball and decided that this was going to be where he would focus his attention for the next few minutes at least.

The machine's theme appeared to be heavily focused in playing as a large creature in a monster-movie like scenario, no indication however as to what this character would look like though. The dragon assumed that there would perhaps be a digital screen in the machine somewhere and the player's performance would be displayed as an animation somewhere later on.

Trent inserted his coin and launched the first ball into play. Quickly the score began to rise - the dragon's skillful play activating several multipliers and bonuses in next to no time. It was a good first try, and he was determined not to let it end without getting that score much higher.

I imagine the music themes from so man games is bound to sound off key since they're all playing at once. Imagine that!

Never visited an arcade that's so close to where he lives? Poor boy's been missing out on a lot!

What a peculiar machine indeed. Guess most people are afraid of having their clothes not fit anymore.
