“I just wanted a quick refsheet. Just something small to get a feel for the character”
Well, it happened again…. something small turned into a quite usable refsheet. I definitely need to draw him more often to flesh out his proportions a bit. I do have a pic in my head but it doesn’t really want to come on paper yet. For now, this ref is more than enough.

Gero is part of my sci-fi universe “Phrexian”. He’s not part of the main storyline but while I was toying around with worldbuilding he and some others appeared and I wanted to give them a face and not only a name.
Most dominant feature about him is the rather “casual” appearance. He and his crew only have minimal tech-ressources which forces them to rely heavily on “traditional” exploration gear.

The nickname “stag” comes from his rather quick and jumpy movements which often remind people of prancing. The fact that he is a quite cocky bastard in front of strangers might also be a reason coughs probably more than the movement-thing coughs
