One of the many images I have planned to burn from a coloring book LOL

Originally I was going to use color on the designs on the skull, but decided to go ahead an burn em in there to see how they look, could always lay color on top later (which I did) and....I really like how it came out!!

Over all, I think I have 8+ hours invested in this, roughly 8x10 and almost the entire surface is burnt!! Real test of patience this was =D

This is a paper burning on watercolor paper. Which means the sepia tones were achieved by applying a heated tool to the papers surface at different temperatures to create the different tones. Its very much the same as my wood burnings and even has a little bit of the texture too!
