Commissioned by chaoticstarpuppeh of her alternative fursona Svéstiva.
I gotta say...out of all the commissions I have done lately, this is one of the most unique I have seen! A truly beautiful character =) I ended up doing a lot of color on this one, I am very pleased with how the blues came out, they are normally tricky.
This is a wood burning, the color was added with the following watercolor pencils:
White, Light Blue, True Blue, a bit of cool gray, and a white gel pen for the eyes.

You can add all kinds of stuff to a burning! =D
Its just a matter of finding the right balance of what works with the wood or compliments the burning. Too much color and you lose the whole effect! So color is always a gamble =PI tend to stick with transparent mediums so that if I add it, it just lays on top of the burning instead of completely covering up all the shading I have done.
