So...I am getting ready to work on a BIG burning that requires knowing how to do feathers...I am not friends with feathers XD So I went looking for some practice images and found this neat tattoo design and thought I would give it a try. While they are not exactly realistic and VERY stylized...I think I like em =) For what I plan to do to these feathers I think it will work out nicely, and if I wanted to detail them after getting them to this point I could still do it. There ya have it =D

This is a natural wood burning, no color added =D
Done on a 5X7 piece of thin Italian poplar which fits nicely in a frame with or without the glass. Personally I like to keep the glass out because you can still touch the burning that way and if you know anything about burning, the texture is the best part =D
