"I swear, it wasn't like that five seconds ago!"

First lesson of biogenesis class: Always keep an eye on your creations.

Anyway, I had a lot of fun trying different things with this piece. At first I wanted to see of putting different body parts of the character on different layers would help with avoiding smearing things I don't want to, but I ended up with over twenty layers and it wasn't worth the trouble. In the end, I just ended up merging everything into one layer and working with that. I think next time, I'll do one layer for hair, another for the character, and the last layer for the background.
I also tried a different way of shading fur tufts, and I think it turned out alright for a first try. I like the look of it, although I'll have to practice a bit more before it looks really nice though.
