His father and brother served the then emperor of Tu, Qiang Ye ( 強野 ) battling for him till one of his general killed his father and took the Imperial Seal to make himself emperor of Beifang. His older brother form an army with Chun as the general to punish the traitor, leaving Ye with little defense from the great flood. With little strength, he break the anti-Metalmancy rule to defeated the rebel saving his brother and the honor of the Quan Family making him the current head of the house.
