Had a random idea for a human design for Scutum so here it is! I’m not sure why it hadn’t occurred to me to do this with any of my other animal/anthropomorphic characters until now, but this was REALLY fun so maybe I’ll do more in the future :D Character design exercises like this are one of my favourite parts of it, it really makes me think about how to translate certain aspects of the design onto a new one. I also took the opportunity to clean up Scutum’s original drawing from 2019 because it was messy lol

It would have been easy to draw him in armour for this, but considering Starglass Zodiac already has a medieval fantasy look for the constellation characters, I decided to do a more modern take this time. I even came up for a name for him as a human, so maybe I’ll use him for an AU or something haha! I’d imagine he’d be a paramedic with a motorcycle to tie in with the shield/protector theme and his “red cross” imagery.

… Okay now I’m getting ideas for a full character sheet xD
